Bray Modelling
January 23, 2012 No Comments
We all seem addicted to reality TV shows these days especially those that are more ‘fly on the wall’ types of shows. UK Model Tom Bray will be appearing on a new TV show of the Lifestyle network which will focus on the day to day life of a UK teen male model.
We will see how Tom balances college and his work as a model and the sacrifices he makes to achieve his goals. Here at Celebrities in Marbella we were lucky enough to catch up with Tom and ask him a few questions about his success to date and what he hopes to achieve in the future.
1 – When did you get in to modelling and how has it changes your day to day life?
I first started modelling when I was at the age of 14. It was through a small UK London based agency called RED MODELLING. The idea with red was that they registered photographers, makeup artists, models and more. It was a fairly amateur set up but I didn’t have to travel far, as most of the studios were based around the UK. Luckily for my portfolio shoot there was a MUA and a photographer in the local area, so I was able to stay in my home town of Worcester to do my first shoot.
2 – How did you land the role in the new TV production that will follow you around?
I got myself a 12 month contract with top modelling agency in London, Premier (who featured on channel4′s TV show, The Model Agency). I have also worked with models 1 based in London for 6months, however the new series of the model agency will be featuring on a sky living channel.
(I am not allowed to reveal all just yet
)
3 – We hear this will be a ‘tell all’ show and that you will tell it how it is. Are you worried about the trouble you might get in to?
No! I am daring and don’t care about anything and I am not afraid of anything.
4 – Ultimately what is your ambition?
my ambition for life is to continue modelling on the side of college, (lol) until I reach ” THE AGE ” where I will get job in the event management industry orrrrrrrrr see what doors have been opened in the fashion world.
5 – What advice do you have for other young men trying to break in to the business?
Be different
6 – What would your ideal modelling assignment be?
VIVIENNE WESTWOOD! I would die to work with the woman, she is god. Otherwise Kate Moss, the Kardashians or Donatella Versace. I would love to work on one of her campaigns. I am gutted that D&G is closing down.
7 – What location would you most like to do a shoot in?
I’ve done a shoot on a farm, that was different, I’ve done one in an abandoned mental asylum. (That was weird) I’d love to do a shoot in a desert or in a graveyard.
8 – What assignments / features have you already done to date?
I’ve done work for Antonio Marato, Hudson Jeans, Asylum OF Fashion, Monclear, Zadig&Voltaire, and worked on the runway @ Essex Fashion Week.
9 – How can people follow you and get in touch for more information.
People can get in touch on my personal modelling email address iambraymodelling@hotmail.co.uk or twitter (preffered) @iambrayxo
